Television and films Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Last Starfighter, Star Trek Nemesis, Steven Soderbergh’s Solaris, Star Trek The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and real space design with Voyager’s Ares IV Mars orbiter, Future Flight and COSMOS, for which he received an Emmy award and two Hugo awards.

Huston Huddleston

HUSTON HUDDLESTON – Founder and CEO

Huston is a Writer and the son of the Oscar-nominated Disney composer, Floyd Huddleston, and singer/arranger Nancy Adams. Huston went to Buckley School and LA Valley College. He has written and directed several films, composed over 100 songs for various artists, written 25 screenplays, 4 musicals, a horror play “Soul Less”, two animated films for Don Bluth and recently wrote and directed the pilot for the animated series “Captain Daddy” starring Ed Asner, Fred Willard and Roger Bart.

Television and film artist who is best known for designing the USS Enterprise for Star Trek: The Motion Picture and the Enterprise-D for Star Trek: The Next Generation, Battlestar Galactica, the Disney Imagineering team, Tron, and the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future. Studied at the Art Center College of Design.

DAVID GERROLD

Science-fiction screenwriter and novelist known for his scripts for the popular Star Trek: The Original Series episode “The Trouble with Tribbles,” for creating the Sleestak race on the television series Land of the Lost, as well as his work on Babylon 5, Sliders, The Twilight Zone, and his novelette The Martian Child, which won both Hugo and Nebula awards, and was adapted into a 2007 film starring John Cusack.

Oscar and two Emmy winner for visual effects on Battlestar Galactica, artist, designer, sculptor, illustrator and makeup artist whose credits include: Star Trek: The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space 9, Enterprise, Battlestar Galactica, The Cotton Club, Starship Troopers, Starman, Heartburn, Fatal Attraction, Poltergeist III and Dick Tracy. He is presently working on the SyFy Channel series Defiance.

LARRY NEMECEK

Author of the best-selling “ST: The Next Generation Companion” and “Starfleet Archives: Stellar Cartography,” longtime editor of Communicator magazine and Star Trek Fact Files, columnist at Star Trek magazine, former producer at startrek.com, producer of “The Con of Wrath” documentary and blogger at TREKLAND. Along with story credit for the “Prophecy” episode of TV series Star Trek Voyager, he shares two Associated Press state news awards, leads the “Hollywood 2 Vegas” Star Trek Tour for Geek Nation Tours, and appears in numerous documentaries and indie Star Trek films.

Ronald D. Moore

RONALD D. MOORE

Screenwriter and television producer best known for his work on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, the films First Contact, Generations, Mission Impossible II and the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series for which he won a Peabody Award. Recently commissioned by Lucasfilm to write scripts for a Star Wars live-action television series for ABC, and the new SyFy Channel series Helix.

TIMOTHY EARLS

A highly respected artist and designer, best known for his work on Babylon 5/Crusade, Star Trek: Voyager and Serenity as well as Firefly, Terminator: Salvation, Iron Man 3, he also illustrated “The Starfleet Survival Guide”, the “Serenity Blueprints” and the Tech Files for “The Official Star Trek Magazine”. A graduate of Georgia Southern University and an architectural designer for 14 years before transitioning into a set designer/art director in the entertainment industry.

NANCY ADAMS HUDDLESTON – CFO

Nancy has a strong music business background which includes performances and vocal arrangements for TV and film including Disney’s Robin Hood, Sweet Charity, Airplane and Apocalypse Now, and many albums by Neil Diamond and Frank Sinatra. She managed and coordinated the Music and Wedding Events at FCCLA as well as working as their Secretary to the Board of Trustees.

AUBREY WEST- SECRETARY

A lifelong Star Trek fan, Aubrey was born on the Island of St. Thomas in the American Virgin Islands and attended Delaware College and Los Angeles Valley College majoring in Theatre and Film with an emphasis on directing. He’s worked extensively in theatre including: Directing, Acting, Stage Management and Light and Sound Design. Aubrey has been involved with New Starship since its creation.
